The Hevreh Ensemble has been called “strikingly original and spiritually uplifting”.

Hevreh Activities

The group has been recipients of a grant from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation to present concerts in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts and were recently invited to perform concerts in Prague and Krakow. They will travel to Eastern Europe in September 2010.

The Hevreh Ensemble was recently invited to participate in a special collaboration with the Hofstra University Emily Lowe Art Gallery for the Spring of 2011: “ Soweto Art”- Commemorating the 35th Anniversary Uprising of Soweto.

The Hevreh Ensemble also announces an exciting new addition the group: Keyboardist Adam Morrison- MFA World Music Studies California Institute of the Arts. Adam Morrison has been active a player, producer and teacher in the jazz and ethnic music scene in NYC for the past 20 years.
